After years of seeing roller rinks close and skaters forced to practice in car parks, netball

courts and driveways, we wanted to help keep roller skating alive. So we created a space where

people could connect, learn, create and belong.

In 2025, we transformed a vacant post office in Ettalong Beach into The Downtown Creative — a

retro-inspired roller skate studio and creative community space.

Today, we're proud to be a home for roller skaters, artists, musicians, market lovers and

community groups. Whether you're here to skate, create, perform or simply connect with others,
